This was the first time inten years that Metallica performed in Milan. They were last here on June 5, 1999 to play the Gods of Metal Festival. It was at this show that Metallica was joined by King Diamond and Hank Shermann for a performance of the Mercyful Fate medley.
Metallica first played Milan on February 5, 1984.
